It’s that time of the year again to get our Troop class B shirts ordered. This year color is SAND with a green arrowhead design and lettering. Please note that this year we have a choice of a T-Shirt with or without a pocket. No pocket price of $8.50 (S-XL) and $10.50 (2XL – 3LX). The Pocket version price is $10.50 (S-XL) and $12.50 (2XL-3XL). Please have your order ready to turn in no later than May 5th. Email your request to Mr. Kelch at regkelch@sbcglobal.net

WOOHOO!
It’s that time again! — Time to tour Arrow Rock, Missouri.
On this campout, we will be Hiking, Cooking and Touring the Arrow Rock town and museum.
Arrow Rock is a tradition with Troop 111 and all enjoy the area as well as the town.
For full participation, the scouts will need:
- A backpack
- A Mess Kit
- Regular camping gear
- Hiking Boots
- Spending Money for the store and museum.
This campout will be a TWO NIGHT campout.

This month, we will be working on core skills and hiking near Lake Jacomo.
Be sure to bring your hiking boots and be prepared for any type of weather.

On the weekend of January 20-21, 2012, we will attend the
Thunderbird District Klondike Derby.

On this event, scouts will demonstrate their scouting skills in competition with other troops in Thunderbird District.
Since the scouts will be busy all day, the adults will cook for the entire troop! All participants will still need to bring mess kits.
The fee for the event is $15.00 which includes the cost of the food. Any credits will go to the scouts account.
We will assemble at St. Sabina Gym at 5:30 PM and depart at 6:00 PM on Friday 2012-01-20.
Scouts will need to bring winter camping gear:
- Boots
- Hat
- Gloves
- Coat (water proof)
- Flashlight
- Sleeping Bag
- At least one change of clothes (three changes of socks)
We also plan on dining out on Saturday evening after the Klondike.
Scouts should bring additional money ($10-$12) for eating at either:
Pizza Street or Rib Crib!
Familes are welcomed to join us for dinner.

We will tour Missouri Town 1855 this weekend (9, 10,11 Dec., 2011) as well as camp at Landahl Park Reserve.
The December campout (with Missouri Town) is usually one of the best regular campouts because it’s like visiting a living museum and the boys are free to have fun!
